Emphasizing on “purity and technology” in recruitment, CM Yogi clearly stated that any kind of malpractice in the recruitment process will not be tolerated. Under a transparent methodology, recruitment will be made completely technology-based to further strengthen the confidence of the youth. Instructions have been given to set a strict timeline for all stages, such as examination, physical efficiency, and results.

Modernization of UP Police

Not only recruitment, several major decisions have been taken to modernize the UP Police. Among these, the response time of PRV-112 is the most important. Currently, the police’s arrival time is 6 minutes, which will be further reduced by introducing new vehicles and data-based patrolling. Cybersecurity has also been addressed. In the past year, the UP Police has prevented cyber fraud worth ₹425.7 crore. The 1930 helpline is being further strengthened. Additionally, hydraulic fire tenders will be made available in every district under the “One Tehsil, One Fire Tender” scheme. Digital systems have been implemented in the police radio departments of all 75 districts for e-office.
